This site presents a collection of videos that have voices of students from the Bulgarian schools across the country, who have earned Global Seal of Biliteracy credentials. The students send us very powerful messages about how they have built their identity as bilingual and multilingual speakers and their self-confidence while they have learned Bulgarian at their local schools, and what it means for their bilingual and biliteracy abilities to be officially recognized by the Global Seal of Biliteracy. We hope that parents, teachers, students, and friends at large will view the videos and see the power of these schools in people’s lives.

Join three groups from three different community-based Bulgarian heritage language schools in the United States. Students, including both candidates for and recipients of the Global Seal of Biliteracy, will share their language learning experiences in both Bulgarian and English.
